High Praise

..when the MD said " .. this programme has been first class. I would recommend it to anybody. Just send them to me!".

High praise indeed. I just had to share!

And I am so proud that this team took the risk and commissioned this programme. Not quite knowing what it entailed they bought into a programme which was specifically tailored for them, have entered into it with gusto and are reaping the benefits.

They regularly report being better able to challenge each other and make decisions more quickly, as well as focusing their time and energy on the projects that matter most. If that wasn’t enough they are now actively engaging with their people on major change projects, surfacing and managing resistance as they go. Great stuff!

If you are fed up with off the shelf training that you know in your heart doesn’t work then get in touch with us. We will be ruthless in figuring out what you need and design something that will make a real difference for you.

(This client is very willing to give verbal references so if you would like to hear more about this programme please email me and I will put you in touch)

Critical Conversations

The stark reality is, that no matter how well equipped your IT infrastructure is, or how well embedded your HR systems are, the real measure of success in your company will always come down to one essential thing; the quality of the conversations going on within your company, and between your people, your customers and suppliers. Click here for a recent Case Study.

How effective are the conversations in your organisation? How many misunderstandings, unnecessary conflicts or decisions are being taken for emotional reasons rather than carefully considered rationale? Now imagine what things would be like if people were addressing real areas of concern, making changes that matter.

RCC will work with you to equip your teams with the skills to overcome these typical obstacles to effective conversations. Contact us to find out how.

Maureen Gaffney, author of “Flourishing” speaks at WIB Conference

Did you know that only 20% of us are operating at our personal best? That 20% of us are languishing well below par?  And the rest are merely ‘ok’!

You may be one of the top 20% but if like me you suspect you might be just ok, then you will be sorry you missed Maureen Gaffney speak at the WIB conference earlier this year.

Clients of ours hear all know about the 5:1 ratio of positive to negative that we need to “flourish” . Yet when we invite them to carry out an exercise to raise their awareness, they are shocked at how many times they are negative or critical during the course of a day. Consider the impact this has on you, when someone criticises you or is negative and then consider the impact on the people in your organisation? And what would it be like if more of even some of you moved closer to flourishing?

Our “Being at your Personal Best” is for your organisation if you want your people to:

  • Discover how negativity detracts seriously from performance
  • Identify strategies to raise their positivity
  • Be more creative, energetic, flexible and resilient
  • Have a more positive impact on their team

I found the workshop really helped me to identify my priorities and provided sound, relevant advice on implementing positive changes.  I was able also to use the advice to assist a client who was struggling with changing behaviours in the workplace.  Well worth the time and effort to attend.

Ask Jen: "What do you think is the key difference between life coaching and coaching in organisations?"

Coaching is designed to help clients get what they want. So, in corporate coaching, whatever has transpired before the coach and client start working together, it's critical for the coach to help the client decide on his or her own goals and purpose.
